2. Shipment Cancellation Policy

Customers may request shipment cancellation before the cargo has been dispatched or picked up.

Eligible Cancellation Conditions

You may qualify for a full or partial refund if:

  • The shipment has not yet been collected.
  • The shipment has not entered transit.
  • Payment was made in error or duplicated.

Non-Eligible Cancellation Conditions

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • The shipment is already in transit.
  • Customs clearance has started.
  • Delivery has been completed.
  • Incorrect shipping information was provided by the customer.

Cancellation requests must be submitted through our customer support team as soon as possible.


3. Refund Policy

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds May Be Approved For:

  • Failed shipment caused by operational errors from Swift Cargo Xpress.
  • Duplicate payments.
  • Service charges billed incorrectly.
  • Lost shipments verified through investigation.

Refunds May Not Be Approved For:

  • Delays caused by customs inspections, weather conditions, natural disasters, or government actions.
  • Incorrect recipient details provided by the customer.
  • Restricted or prohibited items shipped against regulations.
  • Minor delivery delays beyond our control.

Approved refunds are processed using the original payment method.

Refund Processing Time

Refunds are typically processed within:

  • 5–10 business days for card payments
  • 3–7 business days for bank transfers
  • Depending on your financial institution

4. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged or is lost during transit, please contact us immediately.

Required Information:

  • Tracking number
  • Proof of damage (photos/videos)
  • Description of the issue
  • Proof of value or invoice (if applicable)

Claims for damaged or lost items should be submitted within:

  • 7 days after delivery for damaged shipments
  • 14 days after expected delivery date for lost shipments

Swift Cargo Xpress reserves the right to investigate all claims before issuing compensation or refunds.


5. Return of Shipments

Returned shipments may occur when:

  • The recipient refuses delivery
  • Incorrect delivery information was provided
  • Customs clearance fails
  • Delivery attempts are unsuccessful

Additional return shipping fees may apply and are the responsibility of the sender unless the return resulted from an error caused by Swift Cargo Xpress.


6. Customs and Duties

International shipments may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and import regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the customer or recipient unless otherwise agreed.

Refunds are not provided for customs-related delays, seizures, or denied entries caused by prohibited or undocumented goods.

The following services are generally non-refundable:

  • Insurance fees once coverage begins
  • Special handling services
  • Storage fees
  • Expedited or priority shipping after dispatch
